3D printing facilitator - from idea to object!
In close collaboration with 70s designer Fernando Cassetta, Camtecs Engineering re-produces objects in 3D, notably the famous lamp Dog first made by the Italian brand Tacman. It was part of a series of 6 lamps for children's rooms (dog, basset dog, toucan, penguin, bear, mouse). In the original version, the dog's head moved and allowed the user to modulate the light intensity that was emitted from the dog's body.
New technologies at the service of Vintage! Today, after 47 years and 50 hours of printing in Polymer Wire Deposit, ABS, the first 3D prototype was released by Camtecs for exclusive distribution by Nedgis.
