Formagenda is a German lighting company founded by Benjamin Hopf in 2008. Benjamin is the principal designer.
Formagenda lamps represent emotion and character. They resist pure functionality and fashion stereotypes, without forgetting a more important vision: a love of design. Quite simply, Formagenda makes lamps that matter. "I want people to create a living relationship with our products," says Benjamin Hopf.
The products are never rigid or strict; the designers work with simple, geometrically reduced forms. The lamps are above all timeless in design, thanks to their shapes, but also to the designer's intuition for playful, subtle combinations and surprising contrasts that breathe life into the basic forms.
