Advice and fast quotations for all your projects
Alabaster is a stone which comes straight from Antiquity! Crossed by yellowish and brownish stripes, it is famous for its purifying and revitalizing properties. Its white colour brings elegance and purity to the room while maintaining a warm atmosphere.
Originally used for sculpture or jar, alabaster is a good friend for lighting too. Indeed, its translucent white is ideal for diffusing a soft and refined light. Easier to polish than marble, it is easy to use to create infinite shapes!
Alabaster is a real element of wealth; it also goes very well with brass or bronze, which were often assembled together in the Antiquity.
Whether in the form of a pendant light, a wall light wall light or a portable lamp, designers of our century have not finished yet exploiting this stone from the past, to create the most refined white lighting!
Let's take the example of several brands such as CTO Lighting, which offers a very beautiful "Artes" collection, composed of streamlined wall lights, pendant lights and even floor lamps! The Spanish brand, Carpyen , has also adopted alabaster with its Neil half-moon pendant light and Alabast, a portable lamp, that you can take everywhere! French editing houses also adopted alabaster : Entrelacs is one of them, with its collection of Hublot wall lights designed with an IP64 for all bathrooms.
Mixing alabaster and contemporary design is the perfect association to beatutify any kind of decoration.
