Floor Lamp

Floor lamps are lighting fixtures that illuminate and decorate various rooms in the home: a living room, a dining room, an office, or even a bedroom. A floor lamp can be easily moved from one room to another, and this is its main advantage.

A designer floor lamp can be a decorative piece in its own right, such as Céline Wright’s “Envol” floor lamp made of Japanese paper (washi), with its chic and airy design.

For direct lighting, opt for a floor lamp without a shade, such as the “Nobi” floor lamp by Fontana Arte. Floor lamps with lampshades are generally used more for accent lighting thanks to their filtered light. These fixtures often come with a dimmer switch so you can adjust the brightness to your liking. Depending on its shape and color, a floor lamp can highlight a specific area of a room without necessarily causing glare. There are more functional designer floor lamps, such as the “Josette” floor lamp by Pauline Gilain and Pierre François Dubois at Hârto (featuring a small shelf), or more original ones like the Nuage floor lamp by Proplamp (with its shape-memory shade, which can be molded to your liking in endless ways).

From outdoor floor lamps to children’s floor lamps and contemporary designer floor lamps, there’s something for every style and every room...
