Aage Petersen is a Danish sculptor and designer born in 1902 and died in 1982.
After training as a sculptor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, Petersen created numerous works of naturalist inspiration.
Throughout his career, Aage Petersen designed a multitude of floor lamps and lamps with ingenious structures with the particularity of his famous hand-bent lampshades, luminaires designed for the famous Danish publishing house, Le Klint, founded by Tage Klint.
