An icon of radical Italian design, the Toio floor lamp, designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni and published by Flos, embodies a free and ingenious vision of lighting.

Conceived as a hijacked industrial object, it is distinguished by its apparent structure: a base in cut and bent steel, a telescopic stem with a hexagonal section in height-adjustable nickel-plated brass, and a deliberately technical silhouette. The cable becomes a graphic element in its own right, incorporating an electronic dimmer for precise adjustment of light intensity. True to the Castiglioni spirit, Toio transforms functional components into a bold, timeless aesthetic manifesto.

In an interior, the Toio floor lamp naturally finds its place in a contemporary living room, loft or workspace, where it acts as a light sculpture as much as a point of illumination. Installed close to a wall or behind a sofa, it diffuses a comfortable indirect light while asserting a strong character.
