Parentesi is a pendant light designed by Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzu in 1972 for the Italian brand Flos.

Parentesi is a direct-light pendant lamp whose light source can be moved vertically along a 4-meter-long steel cable stretched between the ceiling and the floor, thanks to a steel tube coated with liquid varnish or nickel plating. The head is made of black injection-molded elastomer and includes a switch.

Parentesi is available with the steel tube in four colors: white, nickel, black, or red. Parentesi is also available in a dimmable version.

Parentesi is ceiling-mounted. Bulb not included (E27).
