The English brand BEEM takes its name from the common English noun "beam", reminiscent of light rays; and from "beaming", an adjective used to describe a big, happy smile.

BEEM was created through a collaboration between award-winning industrial designer Samuel Wilkinson and LED lighting specialists Chris Stimson and Bujar Shkodra. The English brand designs luminaires with an original, minimalist style unlike any other on the market.

Indeed, the expansion of flexible-filament LED technology on the market has enabled designers to pursue new directions and develop lamp shapes that were inconceivable until recently. BEEM is the first luminaire brand in the world to try its hand at this technological innovation.
