This Italian brand is created in 2010 by Cosimo Terzani and Barbara Bertocci.
These two designers were born in the 80s in Florence and are both passionate about design. Cozimo Terzani graduated in 2003 from de Instituto Europeo di Design in Milan and Barbara Bertocci graduated in interior design in 2005. During their respective careers, they have often been in relation with designers, manufacturers or creators, it’s for that they decided to create their own collection.



Inspired by their passion for raw materials and their love for their homeland, Toscane, they decided to settle in workshop in Florence. Following this, they create a world of authenticity and vision in which you discover a rich and extraordinary craft.


“Il pezzo mancante”, the missing piece in English proves that the brand is constantly looking for new things, innovations. Indeed, it has the ambition and ongoing research that takes you to new horizons. The design studio will give itself a major challenge: to make unique piece mixing manual planning, traditional techniques and a technological finish with the precision of manufacture of the products that is assisted by a computer.



Their own celebrates the beauty of the craft pieces, tangible works of art designed to express the warmth and “familiar feeling”. So, they translate their world as the memory of the materials, the touch and the illumination of the senses.


To make their products, the two designers decided to work with several materials such as solid wood, brass casts, hand-blown crystal or marble. Indeed, for them these materials are not only icons of the past but symbols of timelessness and elegance that your rediscover in modern life.
