Born in 1979 in Brittany, Pierre Favresse is a French designer. He trained in cabinetmaking at the Ecole Boulle, then continued his apprenticeship in design at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.

Pierre Favresse worked for 5 years with designer Mathieu Lehanneur. Building on this experience, he decided to set up his own studio in 2010. His creations offer a simple, well-balanced design that combines craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology. Through his artistic sensibility, Pierre seeks solutions to everyday social concerns, such as the use of new materials, the reduction of manufacturing costs and the use of environmentally-friendly materials.

In 2012, he collaborated with Petite Friture to create the Tidelight table lamp. This collection represents the alliance between artisanal manufacturing and cutting-edge automotive headlight design. In 2010, the Tidelight table lamp received the VIA Label for French innovation in furniture design.
