Design accessories, from Fermob

The French outdoor furniture company is based in Thoissey in the Ain region.
In the 1950s, a specialist in ironworking began designing and manufacturing furniture. With the help of his son, his company went from small-scale to industrial production in 1953.

In 1989, the company was acquired by Frenchman Bernard Reybier. The brand began to grow, and today makes 40% of its sales abroad.
The brand, which employs around 200 people, specializes in colorful outdoor furniture, mainly in metal.

At the Thoissey plant, nearly 400,000 pieces are produced every year, all with respect for the environment and sustainable development.
The quality of Fermob products is tested at every stage of the manufacturing process, from raw materials, welding, painting, assembly and finally the finished product.
Essentially made of metal, steel or aluminum, Fermob products use recycled materials; their powder paints are recyclable and harmless to health. This paint is also UV-resistant for outdoor use.
The brand has held ISO14001 certification since March 2010, based on the principle of continuous improvement in environmental performance.

Fermob models decorate many large public spaces, such as Time Square (New York) with the famous Bistro chairs, and many gardens in Paris, such as the Jardin du Luxembourg with the chairs.
Google's headquarters, Harvard University, Broadway, School 42 and Bryant Park are just some of the well-known places that benefit from Fermob's expertise.
Since 2010, Fermob has extended its range with original, playful and fun lighting fixtures such as the Balad collection, which lets you take your light everywhere with you.
