Our lighting, from Alice Lahana Studio

Alice Lahana is a French designer based in Paris. While studying at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts, she moved to São Paulo, Brazil, to learn the art of woodworking. Upon returning to France, fascinated by this craft, she undertook a two-year training program that led her to establish her own studio.

Driven by an insatiable curiosity, Alice does not limit herself to a single material. She explores plaster, wood, Plexiglas, and textiles alike. For her, each object is a sculpture, which she shapes by pushing the limits of the material and refining every detail. Her multidisciplinary approach is rooted in a desire to blend traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology, combining composite materials with raw materials. Entirely self-produced and crafted in her Parisian studio, her creations are made in very small batches and exclusively on commission.

In addition to her work as a designer, Alice Lahana founded L’Observatoire, an online magazine and platform that showcases emerging design talent.
