Influenced by the epicurean lifestyle her parents instilled in her from a very young age, and driven by her passions for art, fashion, design, architecture, graphic design, and all things exotic, Julie Schouvey has succeeded in creating a company that faithfully reflects her values. Âme Editions offers lighting fixtures that embody the “slow life” style by blending poetic and philosophical dimensions.

Julie Schouvey, working alongside her French, Italian, and Spanish artisan partners, plays with materials (wood, stone, and metal) to create a “subtle distortion that invites reflection.” Her products, in addition to their soothing aesthetic, stand out for their technical craftsmanship. The goal is to offer durable, timeless products that evoke emotions in the user.

A commitment to CSR initiatives is also at the heart of Âme Editions’ operations. The collection features products with packaging made from recycled materials and lighting fixtures in which plastic has been entirely eliminated from the design process.
