Our lighting, from AYTM

AYTM has its roots in Denmark's second-largest city, in the port of Aarhus. The brand was founded by Per and Kathrine Gran Hartvigsen.

After spending a few years in Bangladesh, the couple returned to Denmark with a burning dream to design and import quality home accessories.
Indeed, the aim of the AYTM brand is to reinvent and challenge design traditions and give a fresh perspective to interior fashion. Scandinavian in style, the brand's fixtures reflect the simplistic shapes and structures of Scandinavian interior classics, but stand out for their bold colors and international inspiration. AYTM's aim is to create a collection suitable for retail and to add something new to Danish design.

In 2004, the couple decided to create Gran Living, which offers a wide range of private label design products to medium and high-end retail chains in Northern Europe.

In 2015, the passionate designers created their own interior design brand: AYTM. The name is a play on the word for item in English. It is pronounced exactly as such. The logo is a simple, visual fusion of the letters A-Y-T-M.

The luminaire design process is influenced by their burning passion for travel and the exploration of new worlds. Mood boards, color charts and creative minds are at the heart of the teamwork. The diverse backgrounds of their design team combine to create the AYTM brand entity.
