Our lighting, from CTO lighting

The CTO Lighting brand was founded by Chris and Clare Turner in 1997. The two combined their individual skills to create captivating collections. Chris is an engineer by training. He worked for many years at Arup, where he gained extensive technical expertise in designing and manufacturing lighting fixtures. Clare, for her part, contributed her creative expertise. Having worked in the fashion industry, she brought valuable knowledge and experience to the brand. Thanks to this combined expertise and their passion for design, the couple launched their first collection at Top Drawer in 1997. Highly modern and refreshing, this collection quickly won over major brands such as Habitat and The Conran Shop. This collection would serve as their primary source of inspiration for subsequent ones, which were always rooted in excellence and elegance.

It was after realizing that demand for high-end lighting was on the rise that the two founders began to focus on luxurious materials such as hand-finished brass, blown glass, and handcrafted stone. It was then that the brand quickly gained recognition as a modern, luxury lighting brand.

To ensure their collections remained diverse, original, and authentic, Chris and Clare collaborated with leading international designers and architects. The brand has since become a global benchmark and is distributed worldwide.

In 2016, CTO Lighting opened its first showroom in London—a space where their luxurious lighting fixtures are on display.
