It’s about RoMi design studio specializes in contemporary homeware and lighting with industrial and urban inspirations. Founded in 1993, the studio is based in Amsterdam.
It’s about RoMi seeks out ideas from the cosmopolitan cities of the world such as Paris, New York and Boston, but is also influenced by elements of nature, as seen in the names of their collections.

For such city-oriented creations, they rely notably on steel, which seems omnipresent in their work and gives a B & W effect.

RoMi stands for Realistic Open Minded Individuals, an appropriate name for a studio that produces 90% of their collection in their own studio. The result is original items made from noble materials in step with their philosophy of simplicity.

It’s about RoMi proposes four collections each year, which translates into about 100 products per year. Three of their collections are devoted to lighting: Summer in the City, Santa in Town and Urban Home.
