Following the MobiBoom exhibition in 2010 at the Arts Décoratifs in Paris, Claude Delpiroux met Michel Buffet, an industrial designer. Michel Buffet’s original pieces were displayed alongside those of Serge Mouille at the same booth, but the two men discovered that they were born on the same day and in the same year (November 1, 1931)…

This encounter led to the creation of Lignes de Démarcation in 2012, but also—and above all—to a wonderful professional and friendly collaboration that respected the designer’s vision and aspirations.

Since then, the collection has been enriched by the work of architect Jean-Louis Avril, who made a splash with his “Lune” and “Soleil” lamps created in 1969, as well as his “Orthogon” coffee table in 2001.
