Tom Rossau is a lighting company based in Copenhagen, Denmark, specializing in pendant lights, floor lamps, wall sconces, and table lamps made of birch.

Tom Rossau was born in Odsherred, Denmark, a region famous for its undulating landscape and the light of the northwest coast, which has attracted artists for centuries. The sculptural qualities of his homeland are part of his DNA and resonate in his design philosophy.

Tom’s work is guided by the intriguing relationship between geometry, materials, and natural and artificial light. For him, the essence of a lamp lies in its transformation when it is turned on; the design must be beautiful in daylight, but the real magic happens when the form and material are illuminated from within.

A self-proclaimed light addict, Tom feels compelled to turn on the lights when he enters a room and is always amazed at how completely the atmosphere and the object are transformed by the flick of a switch.
