Torremato was founded in 2011 and is a brand within the Il Fanale Group, a company that has been manufacturing lighting fixtures since 1979.

Torremato is an acronym combining the names of the two co-founders, Marzia and Tomas Dalla Torre, who are also brother and sister. "The experience we gained working in the family-owned company Il Fanale and our passion for introducing new design ideas led us to envision a creative journey toward evocative and contemporary lighting fixtures. This project was also made possible thanks to the support of designer Enzo Berti."

“Dreams Come True” is the founders’ motto, which serves as the driving force behind the development of their “out-of-the-box” ideas to bring designers’ dreams to life. In 2014, Torremato gained worldwide recognition as one of the most interesting design brands and received the highly coveted “Compasso d’Oro” award for Bitta (the brand’s most iconic product), thanks to the originality of its design in relation to the outdoor environment.

Today, Torremato is first and foremost a gathering of young talent and is always open to discovering new ideas. The Torremato collection features products with well-defined aesthetic and functional values, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use in residential or commercial projects.
