Hay is a design company founded in 2002 in Copenhagen by Mette and Rolf Hay. Hay began as a furniture company with just a few products in its lineup. In the years that followed, Hay expanded by adding lighting, accessories, and textiles to its offerings. After a successful start in the European market, Hay turned its attention to the Asian market. The year 2018 marked a new chapter in Hay’s development with a partnership with the renowned American brand Herman Miller, aimed at expanding into the North American market.
