Design accessories, from Nemo Lighting

In 1993, Franco Cassina, owner of Cassina SpA, and designer Carlo Forcolini founded Nemo Lighting. The company’s mission is rooted in innovation and research into the forms and functions of light, while delivering high-quality lighting. The Italian lighting company is now one of the world’s leading lighting manufacturers, with the goal of offering both design-driven and cutting-edge lighting. Since 2012, Nemo Lighting has been led by Federico Palazzari, the brand’s president and CEO. There are currently two showrooms located in Paris and Milan.

Nemo Lighting offers two distinct collections: the contemporary design collection and the Masters collection.

The first features a wide range of products created by designers from around the world: Foster+Partners, Charles Kalpakian, Martino Gamper, Jehs + Laub, Massimiliano Fuksas, Jean Marie Massaud, Roberto Paoli, Rudy Ricciotti, Arihiro Miyake, and Javier Mariscal. Examples include the Crown, Ellisse, and Kepler pendant lights, all of which are true stars of the brand.

The second collection, Masters, features lighting fixtures designed by renowned figures such as Vico Magistretti, Franco Albini, and Kazuhide Takahama. Each of them has made a fundamental contribution to the creation and evolution of contemporary design. Thus, Nemo reissues and offers in this collection a selection of iconic architectural works from the 1950s. Among the best known are the Marseille lamps, the Borne Béton, and the Projecteur collection by Le Corbusier, as well as the Potence Pivotante lamps by designer Charlotte Perriand.
