Haos

The Haos brand was created in January 2015 by Sophie Gelinet and Cédric Gepner. Both are willing to work on something concrete and palpable. At the same time designer, publisher and broadcaster, Haos leads creative projects, with the quality of materials and techniques.

Indeed, Sophie and Cédric rely on the expertise and know-how of passionate artisans to make and refine their pieces. Their collaboration begins with the design of a lighting that gives birth to their first collection inspired by the assembly of ceramic pieces.
This first collection concerns lighting with clean lines, close to the aesthetics of the 60s. Manufactured from ceramic cylinders, brass and glass pieces come together to compose seven models of suspensions and lamps to ask.

All products of the brand Haos are manufactured using artisan techniques and in limited quantities. Indeed, this approach is voluntary on the part of both designers, they want to leave time to chance and discovery.

All ceramic parts are made in Normandy. The manufacturing time of products requires a lot of time and work. Indeed, more than ten manufacturing steps are necessary between the molding and the last baking. As for brass, it is worked in Ile de France.

The brand is based on the philosophy of craftsmanship mastered in the service of a refined aesthetic.
