Our lighting, from Anour

Anour is a Danish brand founded in 2007 by Arash Nourinejad. Anour is a combination of its creator’s first and last names and also means “light” in Farsi.

Arash Nourinejad developed Anour with the intention of producing contemporary, handcrafted lighting, driven by creativity and an obsession with detail; his goal is to design lighting that stands the test of time.

Anour’s vision is perfection through simplicity. Combining clean, contemporary forms with the best possible technology is the brand’s signature approach to creating functional, minimalist lighting fixtures.

This pursuit of excellence is reflected in the choice of natural materials (steel, copper, brass, chrome) and handcrafted production methods, in keeping with Danish traditions.

The purity of the lighting fixtures is taken to its peak thanks to the Cordless system, featured notably in their flagship I-Model pendant, a technology that combines the suspension and power cables into a single, very thin wire. Almost invisible to the naked eye, this gives the piece the appearance of floating in the air.

In 2022, Anour opened its new showroom in the heart of Copenhagen to showcase its creations, as well as a new workshop in Rodovre. The brand continues to grow and raise its standards to offer creations of ever-increasing quality.
