Our lighting, from Atelier Robotiq

Atelier Robotiq is a Dutch design studio based in Rotterdam, founded by designers Soren Blomaard, Dimitrios Lakovou, and Anne-Lise Heydra.

Together, they take an approach that draws on a diverse combination of knowledge and their varied backgrounds in aerospace engineering, product design, fine arts, and robotics. This unique design approach yields unexpected and exciting products.

Their first works are fiber-patterned lamps, featuring iridescent filaments inspired by dragonfly wings: a series of light fixtures created by weaving fibers into geometric patterns using an industrial robot.

However, Atelier Robotiq is working on new designs not only for lighting but also for furniture and installations. They built and programmed their own secondhand industrial robot (a former automotive welding robot) mounted on custom-made wheels. This technique results in lamps that are both very lightweight and stylish.
