Formagenda is a German lighting company founded by Benjamin Hopf in 2008. Benjamin is its lead designer.

Formagenda’s lamps embody emotion and character. They transcend mere functionality and fashion stereotypes, never losing sight of a greater vision: a love of design. Formagenda simply creates lamps that matter. “I want people to form a living connection with our products,” says Benjamin Hopf.

The products are never rigid or austere; the designers work with simple, geometrically minimalist forms. The lamps are timeless in design, thanks not only to their shapes but also to the designer’s intuition for playful, subtle combinations and surprising contrasts that breathe life into the basic forms.
