Our lighting, from Tunto

Tunto is a Finnish designer lighting brand focused on nature, technology, and clean lines. Tunto lamps draw inspiration from the long tradition of Nordic design from the 1950s and 1960s, crafting lighting fixtures from the noble material of wood: oak, walnut, or birch. All Tunto lamps are handcrafted by exceptional artisans in the workshops in Järvenpää, Finland. Tunto lamps stand out for their contemporary design, which combines the latest LED and OLED technologies—enabling ultra-slim lamps—with wood to create innovative and warm lighting concepts.

The purity and fluidity of Tunto’s lines, with a level of finesse never seen before, have been recognized multiple times with the most prestigious design awards. Mikko Kärkkäinen, Tunto’s founder and designer, received the Red Dot Award in 2009, the Good Design Award in 2009, and the Green Good Design Award in 2010.
