The kitchen was therefore completely redesigned. Formerly L-shaped, it is now linear and integrated into a deep blue setting. The brown oak fronts harmonize with the bookcase. The latter was able to be installed on the entire wall thanks to the removal of the chimney flues, which were protruding into the space.
It is now organized around shelves, niches and low cupboards. The tools needed for sewing are subtly arranged in a cupboard and numerous boxes.
The desk can be split into two, allowing my customer to extend her workspace.Finally, we worked on the lighting fixtures. These were lacking, so we added light points (a sconce above the desk, a pendant above the dining table, a wall light and led strips in the kitchen).
In the end, my customers gained in storage, functionality, space and light. Just what you need to feel at home...
