SAINT MICHEL - NICOLAS BOSSARD ARCHITECTURE

Architect: Nicolas Bossard architecture

Lighting: Nedgis

Location: Paris
When our client visited this apartment for the first time, she immediately visualized a duplex at the crossroads of a rooftop cabin and a seaside shack.

. It took a lot of imagination, because everything had to be rethought! Originally, the apartment was 45 m² and the attic had not been converted. The space constraints were compounded by a worn structure and framework.

The owner entrusted us with the entire project. Our vocation is to create projects that combine light, volume and materials. Our approach is timeless and sculptural, creating spaces that enrich the lives of our clients. And that's exactly what we've succeeded in creating with this apartment: a space rich in sensations!

The bulk of the work involved modifying and reinforcing the roof structure. We also designed a hopper to accommodate the custom-made staircase. Finally, the owner wanted a kitchen separate from the living room.

The result combines functionality, luminosity and a subtle touch of color. A subtle blend for a carefully redesigned space, offering its occupants a unique atmosphere, conducive to relaxation and escape.
