VILLA CAMILLE - AMANDINE MAROTEAUX

Architect: Amandine Maroteaux

Lighting: Nedgis

Location: Luxembourg

Design and decoration of a 500m² villa in Luxembourg.

We love the idea of associating a family home with the spontaneity of encounters, the warmth of southerners and the vitality of a young child. Van Gogh, too, was one of those people for whom family matters. From his exchanges with his brother Theo, his encounters in the yellow house he wanted to be an artist's studio, his inspirations from the simple world of Millet's peasants or his paintings of Breton women during stays in Pont-Aven, he retraced, hidden behind his red beard, a daily life full of humanity.

If young Camille were to enter the villa, he would certainly play with our guests' two daughters. Would he throw his blue beret, would he have our social codes? Who knows?

Because at the end of time, smiles will erase blunders, laughter will mark spaces with a vibrant imprint. Behind the pageantry, the spontaneity of children's smiles opens doors.

We invite you to enter Villa Camille. A family villa of elegance, like a splash of color blowing across the paneling, softening the high ceilings and breathing life into the vast volumes.
