Atelier 1060 is an architectural practice founded in 2022 by HMONP architects Fanny Boquien and Victoire Sebaux, graduates of ENSA Val de Seine and Saint-Luc Bruxelles respectively.

After meeting on the benches of the Saint-Luc architecture school in Saint-Gilles (1060, Brussels), and working in various agencies, they decided to pool their shared architectural aspirations and convictions.

Saint-Luc's scientific education, and its focus on structural issues, convinced them to see technology as an inherent tool in the design process, rather than a constraint.

Today, the agency's work tends to seek the right balance induced by a rigorous formal and structural approach; but also imbued with poetry and flexibility through meticulous work on a small scale. The agency is also keen to take into account the scope of the project in terms of respecting and adapting to the place and the user at various scales, whether urban, architectural, macro or micro.

Fanny and Victoire's experience in various Parisian agencies has given them a solid grounding in the management of projects of various scales and morphologies, both in the design and construction phases. They have worked on both new-build and redevelopment programs for multi-family housing complexes, hotels and offices.
