Originally from the Cantal region of France, Rémy Bardin became interested in the creative and craft trades at an early age. A Parisian by adoption for 15 years, he is also a lover of the capital, and more particularly of the historic, multicultural 18th arrondissement. His sensitivity to woodworking and his affection for the Parisian way of life are sources of inspiration for the creation of interiors and pieces of furniture combining aesthetic simplicity, practicality and the enhancement of natural materials.

A student at ENSAAMA - Olivier de Serres (École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et des Métiers d'Art), he obtained a Diplôme Supérieur d'Art Appliqué (DSAA) in Interior Architecture in 2005. He completed this training with a one-year exchange program at the Faculty of Art, Architecture and Design of the Universidad Diego Portales in Santiago de Chile, where he later served as professor and jury member.

Remy Bardin's career as an interior designer has taken off.
In 2007, Rémy Bardin graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Paris La Villette (ENSAPLV) with a Diplôme d'État d'Architecte and a Habilitation à la maîtrise d'œuvre en son nom propre (ADE HMNOP). He began his career with four years in an architectural practice, first with RH+ Architecture, then with Maison Edouard François.

He is also a member of the board of directors of Maison Edouard François.

In 2011, he founded the Collectif HOLDUP Architecture with Guillaume Jounet. The two collaborate on interior architecture projects (apartments, restaurants), architecture (winners of the Europan competition), art installations (Kobe Biennial of Contemporary Art in Japan) and urban farms.

Building on these early years of experience in a variety of fields, and keen to focus on interior architecture and furniture design projects, Rémy founded BARDIN ARCHITECTE in early 2015. His agency's work ranges from consultancy to realization, and adapts to customer requirements, around which projects are built. The DNA of each of them is characterized by a strong focus on listening and analyzing needs.

Today, Rémy Bardin is surrounded by a solid and qualified team of collaborators and service providers (surveyors, engineers, contractors, craftsmen). What's more, he has extensive knowledge of the issues involved in renovation - whether of homes, offices, shops or restaurants - and adapting to individual lifestyles.
