The brand Golden Editions was launched during the summer of 2019 by Sara Efia Reddin, an English designer based in Paris.

Half-Ghanaian from her mother’s side, Sara Efia Reddin combines with Golden Editions her passion for Ghanaian ancestral craft and for contemporary design. The brand offers lamps, suspensions, and wall lights, all woven according to the Bolga weaving, craft originating from the Bolgatanga region in Northern Ghana. The woven material is a grass, the Veta Vera grass: it is locally grown, harvested before being twisted and torn until it becomes resilient and smooth reeds, that are finally hand-dyed with natural pigments. Based on the work of the community, the production creates a economic life in the heart of the villages, participating in the promotion of the country’s crafts, as well as in the development of rural economies. Each piece is handmade, the artisanal process making each piece unique. The suspensions are then assembled in France.

The Golden Editions collection includes many families, with various shapes, sizes, and colours. The lights create a cosy and natural softness to all interiors, whether they be private or public, whether the lamps be installed in a living room, a circulation space or in a bedroom, a Golden Editions lamp adapts to each user, each decoration, each use.
