PIATONI is a lighting brand conceived by Corsican designer Jean-Luc Alfonsi to offer wooden pieces from their Toulouse workshops.
The brand uses sheets of FSC-certified wood, chosen for their specific characteristics, and custom-made to guarantee optimum quality. Next comes the research and design of the curves, which determine the material cuts thanks to state-of-the-art digital assistance.
This process is followed by meticulous finishing work, which transforms the raw wood into a piece carefully prepared to maximize natural reflections. Finally, they apply a VOC (volatile organic compound)-free paint and protective oil to ensure a finish that is both aesthetically pleasing and environmentally friendly. The entire process is patented, enabling the brand to offer a unique concept.
