Alfredo Häberli is a designer who is graduated in industrial design (in 1991), he then travelled extensively during and after his studies: notably in Zurich where he used to live, in Rome, Barcelona, San Sebastian and even Paris. He drew his inspiration from his many travels and discoveries.

He has completed many projects such as the 25hours Hotel Zurich West in 2012 where he combines illusion, art and industrial design with a touch of retro. He has also won several awards: the "Swiss Grand Prix of Design" at the Swiss Federal Office of Culture in 2014, and the Designer of the Year 2009 for Architektur & Wohnen magazine.

And he has worked with the Italian company Astep for a portable lamp called Nox which comes from the Latin word for night. This indoor and outdoor portable lamp is very contemporary in terms of aesthetics and functionality.
