Bertrand Clerc, the creator of the Plumen energy saving light bulb (second generation), was born in France. After completing his industrial design studies at Valenciennes in 2007 at ISD, he crossed the Channel to London, and then moved on to Japan. He is specialized in industrial design and has worked for major brands like Nokia, Sony, Conran, Yamaha Music and Plumen.
