Christian Piccolo was born in Montebelluna, Italy, in 1977. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, with top marks, working as a designer and interior designer.
He turned his plastic research into a formal language that could be called minimalist and rational. Its expression is indeed reduced to the essential, it is purely abstract, objective and free of surface decorations. Christian Piccolo favors a study focused on the spatial possibilities offered by the pure form.
As already said, his projects are the result of a careful analysis of the geometry, linearity and purity of the product so as to make it elegant. He began his business career by designing ceramics for Certre Remeggio's fashion house. Then he worked with Linea Light Group for whom, in addition to designing products, also collaborated in the search for new materials. In 2008, he founded his own studio, Christian Piccolo Design, which deals with both industrial design and interior design.
Today, Christian Piccolo works with: Remeggio Fashion House, LInea Light Group, Mastella Design, MM Lampadari, Zava, Cuproom, Marchea, Torremato, Feltrin Arredamenti Metallici, Vetrarti Group, Stylnove Ceramiche, Stocco. He participated in the most important international fairs: ISaloni Salone del Mobile (Milan), Cersaie (Bologna), ISH (Frankfurth), Abitare il Tempo (Verona), Macef (MIlan) Light & Building (Frankfurth) Maison & Objet (Paris) ). Awarded all'YOUNG & DESIGN2011 with a special mention.
