Daniel Schofield

Nationality
British
Occupation
Designer

Born in 1986 in Royal Leamington Spa, England, Daniel Schofield studied graphic design at Warwickshire College, graduating with a national degree in 2003. Schofield established his studio in 2012 in Sheffield and received the New Design Britain award in 2013 for his Shifty desk, Department table and What a Corker! mirror.

Trained in graphic design and woodworking, and based between London and Copenhagen, Daniel's approach to design finds beauty in simplicity. While exploring materials and industrial processes, his work seeks reason and focuses on the essential.

The result of this approach is charming and meaningful objects that fall somewhere between the obvious and the intriguing, and are all about making life a little more beautiful.
