Huub Ubbens was born in the Netherlands in 1964. He has a graduation from Gerrit Rielvield Academy in Amsterdam in 1993. He makes an internship in the Studio Cappelli & Ranzo in Naples (Italy) in 1992. Then, he settles in Milan.
From 1997 to 2004, he works for the Artemide Italian lighting house as department head. Thus, he creates the Castore elegant collection with Michele De Lucchi. He is also the artistic director for Danese Milano from 2002 to 2008.
He becomes an architect teacher in many schools like the architecture university of Vanvitelli in Naples, in Polytechnic architecture in Milan and in Fines Arts in Toulouse (France).
Since 2010, Hubb Ubbens is living in Montpellier in France.
From 1997 to 2004, he works for the Artemide Italian lighting house as department head.
