Jonas Forsman lives in Gothenburg, Sweden, where he also runs his industrial design studio. His projects range from lighting and furniture to product design. Forsman designs from the inside out, where function and idea dictate the final shape of the product. There is often a mechanical element in each design and he challenges himself by using only a few simple parts without losing the soul of the object. He was awarded the Red Dot Design Award in 2006.
