Marie Holsting is a young Danish designer, born in 1987 in Denmark. From an early age, she found herself an artistic fiber and spent her time to create : sewing, painting and drawing. Her father being a furniture manufacturer, she found an interest for recycling. The designer enjoys giving a second life to already existing objects.
She graduated in Living Design from KEA Design School, Copenhagen School of Design and Technology. During her studies, she had the chance to work with many renowned design companies such as Broste Copenhagen and Louis Poulsen. After many professional experiences, Marie Holsting became designer and then Head of Design at Light Point As. His greatest achievement is the Blow pendant light.
Today, Marie Holsting owns her own studio Holsting Design since 2016.
