Melissa Yid is a designer who graduated from the famous Polytechnic University in Hong Kong. She began her internship at Innermost and ended up creating a model that will appeal to more than one person: the Bud portable lamp.
She was inspired by a famous Japanese designer: Naoto Fukawasa and his work "The Muji electric kettle" to make Bud.
She greatly admires designers such as Naoto Fukawasa, Zaha Hadid and Hella Jongerius who are designers from all over the world. She is inspired by their styles while adding her own style by playing with colours!
