The WhyNot design studio takes its name from Italy's peculiar but creative association with Lithuania. Initially based in Treviso, Italy, the studio is now also present in Venice, Milan and on social networks.
The 15 years' experience of the studio's designers is a guarantee of quality and ingenuity. Whether it's producing lighting fixtures in a variety of styles, or products for other markets such as rugs, the studio has a proven track record.

Indeed, WhyNot has a long tradition of collaborating with lighting brand Emko to create stunning products whose clean, geometrically rich design adds a touch of warmth.
This partnership has led to the creation of the Spiedino suspension lamp, one of Emko's flagship products, whose design, as the name suggests, is reminiscent of a skewer.
The geometrical pieces on the suspension dress up the model, which, unlike other Emko brand lighting fixtures, features a predominantly plain, neutral hue.
Studio WhyNot has thought of everything to create amusing designs that can be adapted to different decorative styles and moods.
