Our lighting, from Foscarini

Foscarini is one of Italy’s leading designer lighting companies.
Two words perfectly capture Foscarini’s vision: “Fare” and “Luce.” These terms are the very essence of Foscarini. Two concepts that encompass two seemingly separate worlds, yet come together in the product: the world of “fare” (of “making”), where materials are shaped; and the world of luce (“light”), that is, of vision and thought.
Foscarini was founded in 1981 on the island of Murano, and in 1983 the first collection was released and distributed outside of Italy.
In 1985, the company commissioned designers for the first time. In 1988, Carlo Urbinati and Alessandro Vecchiato acquired Foscarini, where they had started out as designers a few years earlier.
Since then, the development of new materials and the company’s successes have multiplied. Among others, these include Patricia Urquiola’s Caboche lamps and Marc Sadler’s Twiggy...
Foscarini is a global leader in decorative lighting, and several of its models have already become design icons.
