Our lighting, from Foscarini

Foscarini is one of Italy's leading designers of lighting fixtures.
Two words perfectly express Foscarini's vision: "Fare" & "Luce". These words are the very essence of Foscarini. Two envelopes that enclose two seemingly separate worlds, but which come together in the product: the world of fare ("making"), where material is shaped; and the world of luce ("light"), that is, of vision and thought.
Foscarini was founded in 1981 on the island of Murano, and in 1983 the first collection was launched and distributed outside Italy.
In 1985, the publishing house called on designers for the first time. In 1988, Carlo Urbinati and Alessandro Vecchiato bought Foscarini, where they had started out as designers a few years earlier.
New materials and successes followed. Among others, Patricia Urquiola's Caboche lamps and Marc Sadler's Twiggy...
Foscarini is a world reference in decorative lighting, and several models are already design icons.
