The Lagranja Design firm - design for companies and friends – was established in Barcelona in 2001 by Gerard Sanmartí (Barcelona 1974) and Gabriele Schiavon (Padua 1973).
Lagranja Design provides its services to both private individuals and companies. Ongoing growth at international level resulted, in 2010, in its setting up a new office in Hong Kong.
Lagranja Design is involved in both architecture and design – interiors, exhibitions and museums – while at the same time designing products for industry.
Design activities are integrated by teaching at the Venice University Architecture Institute, at the Fabrica (Benetton creative research centre), and at the Elisava, BCN, IED Advanced School of Design in Barcelona.
