Our lighting, from Frandsen

Frandsen has been designing, manufacturing, and selling lamps since 1968, when Benny Frandsen launched his lighting design firm. He quickly achieved success with his famous Ball lamp, which he created in 1969. A symbol of the 1970s, this round lamp made of colored metal has become a cult classic of Scandinavian design. With over 50 years of experience, the company has acquired extensive knowledge and expertise in every stage of production.

“Frandsen develops and markets lighting products for people who prioritize design and taste over price.” It is important to them to design lamps using beautiful materials and to ensure that their products embody quality and good taste. Each of their lamps, in its own way, helps create an atmosphere and a sense of home.

At Frandsen, they focus on product design and development. Today, new product lines are launched regularly—twice a year—in collaboration with the rising stars of Scandinavian design, such as the 365° North studio and designer Theresa Bligaard.
