Our lighting, from Moooi

In 2001, the Dutch brand Moooi was founded by Marcel Wanders and Casper Vissers. The word “Mooi” means “beautiful” in Dutch. A third “o” was added to emphasize the concept of beauty.

According to entrepreneur Marcel Wanders: “We don’t tell designers what to do; we listen to what they want to do, and we try to make their dreams come true.”

Moooi produces bold, playful, and timeless designs. Many of its products blend designs from the past with a modern twist to create a retro look, such as the famous “Dear Ingo” chandelier, designed by Ron Gilad.

The brand collaborates with renowned designers such as Arihiro Miyake, Bertjan Pot, Maarten Baas, Umut Yamac, Edward van Vliet, Joost van Bleiswijk, Studio Job, and Nika Zupanc.
