HYATT- STUDIO GAZELLES

Interior designer: Studio Gazelles

Lighting design: Nedgis

Location: Paris

When we think of Porte Maillot, we inevitably think of the Palais des Congrès, but on the other side, overlooking the streets that stretch from east to west, stands the tall tower of the Hyatt Hotel. The first three floors of this tower are occupied by offices that share a common lobby on either side of the tower.

Designing a contemporary, high-tech project tailored to three companies with very different activities - a law firm, an IT firm and a pharmaceutical firm - was a demanding brief. The use of screens quickly became an obvious choice, but the question of their location, angle and projection remained a challenge.

The architectural project for the building's entrance embodies a fusion of modernity, technology and elegance, offering visitors a strong, immersive first impression. The façade has been completely redesigned with curved concrete and light effects, creating a dialogue between inside and outside. The glazed entrance adopts a rugby ball shape to protect the hostess while retaining a generous opening, and the luminous number "58" clearly asserts the building's identity. The materials - glass, stainless steel and smooth concrete - provide both durability and contemporary aesthetics.

Inside, the lobby is designed as an immersive space where clean lines, subdued lighting and technological elements combine to create a warm, professional atmosphere. A matte-black wall, adorned with logos and gold lettering, guides visitors to the elevators, where a mr of screens follows one another with remarkable technological prowess, hugging the wall and then the ceiling at a curved angle, offering a continuous, dynamic visual experience. These dynamic light cubes suspended in a cascade add a futuristic touch to the space. The reception counter, in the same fabric as the wall with a dark wood top, combines functionality and elegance.

Natural and artificial lighting accentuate the perception of volume. The façade's large bay windows maximize daylight, and reflections on the marble, glass and LED cubes reinforce the space's sophistication and high-tech identity. Circulation is fluid, with an uncluttered lobby allowing clear orientation to elevators and different floors, and strategic signage effectively directs visitors.

Materials and finishes play a full part in the identity of the space. Polished marble floors provide a luxurious, easy-care finish, black matte paint walls and metallic coatings create an elegant contrast, and stretch ceilings with integrated lighting reinforce the modernity of the whole.

This iconic entrance combines futuristic aesthetics, immersive technology and functionality, offering a space that is both welcoming and innovative, perfectly suited to the demands of contemporary businesses.
