Renovation and play on volumes for this penthouse and its cathedral roof.
With its cathedral roof, this penthouse offered both exceptional volume and a feeling of emptiness thanks to its high ceilings. The design of a bespoke bookcase in the living room and the hanging of two unique works by artist Modely were used to dress the imposing wall sections.
In the bedroom, a set of closets was created above the bed for a warmer sleeping area.
To improve circulation, access to the kitchen was modified to open directly into the living room through an opening in the load-bearing wall. The custom-designed corner cabinet in the living room accentuates the separation between the living and dining areas, avoiding the open-space effect.
