POMPIDOU - KAHINA DUTEY
With its high floor, it enjoyed an unobstructed view of the château and the woods, with no overlooking. The lack of load-bearing walls meant that the flat could be completely restructured to make the most of the space.
Light, views and functionality guided the project's development. As soon as you enter, you're drawn outside, thanks to the kitchen's angled glass roof, which lets the light in through the large bay windows.
Three bedrooms instead of the original two have been created for this family of four. The new floor plan takes full advantage of the terrace, perched over the city like an extension, and the idea of blue appeared from the outset as a nod to the sky, bringing a bit of the "outside in" in.
The clear, uncluttered lines of the architecture also incorporate a comfortable shower room, a laundry room and plenty of optimized storage space. The choice of materials is based on an eco-responsible approach: recycled mosaics, ecological terrazzo and certified sustainable woods.
