New JUMO Concept was founded by Alain Dosière and Jean-Pierre Lours in 2013. The name JUMO comes from the association of the first syllable of each of the names of the founders, Yves Jujeau and Pierre and André Mounique, founders of the Société Nouvelle des Etablissements in 1945, who created the JUMO desk lamp.
New JUMO Concept brings the JUMO lamp back to life, with the new JUMO Classique version, a revisited version of the luminaire created in 1945 by André Mounique.
A desk lamp with a bakelite base and shell. Sleek and elegant, its main feature is that it can be retracted and becomes a single unit once the arm is folded. It thus regains its rightful place among the must-have luminaires.
